Welcome to our community's dedicated webpage on how we can come together to support and respond to the needs of Israel. Our commitment to the well-being and resilience of Israel and its people is unwavering. As a community, we understand the importance of standing in solidarity with our Jewish homeland, and we have developed a comprehensive three-pronged approach to having a significant effect on the course of events on the other side of the ocean.

Our Three-Pronged Approach:
Our collective effort to impact the situation in Israel in a meaningful way consists of three dimensions: practical hands-on action, vital generous support, and spiritual fortification. Each of these elements will contribute immensely to Israel’s victory and to Am Yisrael’s continuing unity and strength as a nation.

We invite and encourage you to devote and contribute as much of yourself as possible to each of these elements as our people are facing a crisis of historic proportions.

Together, we will make a difference!

Together, we will be yet stronger!

Together, we will prevail… Am Yisrael Chai!

1 TASK FORCES: Transforming Passion into Action

  • Hostage Awareness: Join our Task Force to raise awareness about the challenges faced by the hostages and their families in Israel. We are actively engaging in posting flyers, organizing campaigns, and advocating for the safe return of our abducted brothers and sisters.
  • Adopting Families: Extend a hand of support by "adopting" one or more of the families of the hostages. This personal connection allows us to speak with and support them, sending care packages, providing emotional and practical assistance, and otherwise being there for them in any way as they face this unimaginable trauma.
  • Community Rallies: Help coordinate community rallies where we unite to voice our support for Israel, its people, and the safe return of hostages.
  • Public Awareness: Stand against misinformation by actively countering false narratives with accurate information, promoting a better understanding of the situation.
  • Reaching out to elected officials to garner support for Israel and the safe return of hostages

2 RAISING FUNDS: Strengthening Bonds

Throughout the crisis, Chabad of the Conejo is working closely with its counterparts in Israel to strategically place monetary funds and/or essential resources provided or facilitated by our community directly into the hands of those who need it most. This includes those mourning the loss of loved ones, the families of the hostages, those injured in the attacks, those evacuated from their homes, and the brave soldiers of the IDF. Additionally, as recent events have been placing Jews all over the world squarely in the haters’ crosshairs, Chabad of the Conejo has been bolstering its efforts to further strengthen Jewish education, assembly, identity and solidarity. Rather than scaling back, Chabad sees this as a time to intensify and increase its programs and events and further expand their reach, thereby creating a stronger, more proactive and connected community.

Your charitable donations will go a long way toward facilitating all of the above crucial and timely endeavors.

3 MITZVOT: The Spiritual Light of Good Deeds

Recognizing that this is a battle between good and evil, light and darkness, we respond by spreading goodness and light. We call upon everyone in our community to engage in increased acts of kindness and compassion as a direct countermeasure tO darkness.

The more good deeds we perform, the more we overcome and eradicate the darkness. By actively participating in mitzvot, you contribute to the abundance of light and positivity in the world.

Take on your mitzvah today!
